My story

I am so happy you’re here! My name is Jessie and the sole proprietor behind Baked and Caked LLC. My love for baking, designing cakes and cookies cultivated during Covid of 2020, when I was an art student studying art education. While Covid brought so much uncertainty, my true passion and gift unfolded. With 5 years under my belt, I have been blessed with so much growth and happy to share that I’ve been published in the Gainesville Times and Shoutout Atlanta. I have worked unbelievably hard for this, gone through many ups and downs, and will continue to let my heavenly Father guide me where he wants me to be, and he hasn’t let me down yet.

While I didn’t have the best upbringing, and had to became an adult very quickly, I'm grateful for my experiences. When I was a child, I was always in the kitchen with my gramma, and then as I got older I always watched the food network. My mother never cooked, so I took matters into my own hands and taught myself. As I became an adult and started working in restaurants, I just asked questions and continued developing more skills. I mostly worked in front of house, because thats where the money was, but there was a period of time I was thrown back in the kitchen as an expediter and then was trained in the pastry department. This is where I really learned how to bake and mass produce. Fast forward to now, where i’m a trusted Bakery Vendor in the Atlanta-North GA area, with over 150 weddings on the books. I’m so happy with where I am today, and all of the work i’ve occomplaished and cant wait to serve all the future clients! Professionalism and reliability is something I feel that is lacking in the baking community, and i’m here as your trusty baker!
